Akarui is a modular typography that I made a while ago. Typography is a branch of graphic design that comes very close to the complexity of architecture. For a typography to make sense and be perfectly functional we have to work a lot on its structure, its form, its counterforms and its rhythm. With Akarui I wanted to make a display typography that really looked beautiful without losing its functionality.

Akarui es una tipografía modular que realicé hace un tiempo. La tipografía es una rama del diseño gráfico que se acerca en gran medida a la complejidad de la arquitectura. Para que una tipografía tenga sentido y sea perfectamente funcional tenemos que trabajar muchísimo su estructura, su forma, sus contraformas y su ritmo. Con Akarui quería realizar una tipografía display que realmente se viera bella sin perder su funcionalidad.
