Matte Painting is a technique that has been used since the beginning of the last century in a completely manual way. Today digital media is used to create hyperrealistic worlds of imagined environments. I made this image using this technique. To build it I had to combine more than fifty photographs, some 3D model and a large dose of photoshop retouching.

El Matte Painting es una técnica que se viene utilizando desde principios del siglo pasado de forma completamente manual. A día de hoy se utilizan medios digitales para crear mundos hiperrealistas de entornos imaginados. Esta imagen la realicé mediante esta técnica. Para construirla he utilizado más de cincuenta fotografías, algún modelo en 3D y grandes dosis de retoque con photoshop.
